Spencer is an adorable energetic 1 yr old  who still has a lot of puppy in him.  We rescued Spencer from a shelter in So Los Angeles, where his owners dumped him because they were moving.  He has had a tough start.  His neuter surgery was more complicated, and he is now being treated for kennel cough, and should be fine in a few days. (It's like a doggy cold, common in shelter dogs).  Spencer seemed a bit hand shy in the beginning, he was most likely smacked in the face by his previous owners.  But he has learned that hands are a good thing.  They bring petting, treats and belly rubs, which he loves.  He also loves going for walks, riding in the car and thinks nothing is better than rolling in the grass.  

Spencer is dog tolerant on walks, but would need to be the only pet in the family.  Being a young boy, he could use some training.  He is learning the basics right now.
