Sophie
8 Month Old Female Rough Coat
Little Sophie is an 8 month old female rough coat. She is very sweet, but is shy when she first meets people and will bark at them, but she warms up quickly. She is small for a saint, and is putting on some much needed weight at the moment.
Sophie loves to play, and is great with other dogs. She is having a blast in her foster home with a huge male saint, a golden, and a lab. On her first day, her foster mom discovered her cuddled up with the cat up on the bed snoring like a buzz saw. Being a young one, training will be a must. Sophie would do best in a home with other pets to play with, or someone who is home most of the time.

Sophie's New Home pictures! |
Hello Judie,
I wanted to take a moment again and thank you for meeting us on Sunday. Sophie must have been tired since she fell asleep after about 10 minutes in the car.
Her and Riley had no problems on the way back to Oceanside and I think that she will adapt well in time. They played for a long time once we got home and pretty much pooped out in front of the TV with us on Sunday night. They are still playing a little dominance game, and she takes a while to warm up to new people but with constant training I think her temperament will mellow (hopefully). We will know more in a couple of weeks but it looks great so far.
We also wanted her to have a name that we did not really associate to anyone else, and since Sophie was a short term name for her we are going to try and change it to “Maggey” (and she will be the only Maggey we know J )
We have posted a few pictures of her first day with Riley. This page will change from time to time but feel free to share this with those who would like to see “Maggey’s” new home. These are all my pictures so you are welcome to download and save or use for you fun.

We also hope that our extra donation can help rescue another Saint to a good home
