I spoke with Pixie's new mom and she told me how she loved
this dog and that she was not just a dog but her companion.
Like most Mom's she bragged about how smart Pixie was and
told me how she treasured her.

Pixie sweet Pixie, what can I say. She was a jewel from the moment
I met her. I was in love. She reminded me very much of my Rescue
Josie who is our 10 year old "Adopt A Saint" mascot
at the top of every page, she may be a litter mate as they are
the same age and had very similar looks as well as personalities.
She was fairly healthy for her age upon entering rescue and as
sweet as can be. She was very very dirty and we immediately bathed
her. She was very tolerant of us scrubbing and brushing even though
we had just met her.
When she first got here, she went immediately and sat in the
swimming pool, she stayed there until her bath, must be a water
girl. We placed Pixie in a foster home, but alas, like I they
too fell for her. We lost a foster home but Pixie found a forever
home.
