Nikki
6 Year Old Female Rough Coat
Nikki is a beautiful and HUGE girl. She was turned in along with
her son, Chance,
by their owner who was moving and could not find a place that
would allow big dogs.
Nikki is spayed and will be up to date on her shots this week
She gets along well with
humans, but she is aggressive to other dogs. We don't know if
she would actually bite
or harm them, but she sure does bark at them.
Due to Nikki's size and strength, we recommend this dog to a
family with no small kids
and to a strong handler that will teach Nikki some basic obedience
and teach her that
it is not OK to be aggressive to other dogs.
She is a beauty with lots of love to give. Are you her forever
home???

and Chance with their forever dad! |
Nikki and Chance got adopted! Wonderful man... he drove all night
to get here in a rented minivan to take them home to northern
California
Update 10/1/2002
Nikki and Chance are doing great! Chance is gaining
weight and is filling out. Chance has gotten rid of his kennel
cough but Nikki still has a touch of it. Nikki is the boss and
sometimes she has to remind Chance of that fact.
I had a problem with both of them getting into the garbage while
I was asleep. We have worked through that and now I leave the
back door open at night so that they have a choice of sleeping
in my room or outside on the deck. They have both become very
attached to me and follow me around like my kids. My next step
is to get them to get along with other animals and to get them
used to other people. That is a quick run down on how Nikki and
Chance are doing.
Yours Truly
John
