Moses
18
Month Old Male Rough Coat
Moses was turned in to us by her owner due to her housing situation
and the dog's over-protectiveness.
She loves Moses and only gave him up because we assured her that
we could find a home that would
be better for him - a bigger yard and a more stable home environment.
Moses really is a very sweet dog. He loves to sleep with you
and always wants to be where people are.
He has been an indoor dog and is completely housebroken. He also
loves taking walks and is good
with a gentle leader. If you just get the collar out he should
sit right away and let you put it on in anticipaiton
of his walk. He also loves to swim... anywhere and his specialty
is running and diving over and over again.
Lately he has had some problems with other unfixed male dogs.
He's never had any problems with other
female dogs. He did grow up with an unfixed male boxer and they
love each other.
We don't know how he is with kids... there really haven't been
any around him lately. He was also
pretty protective of his owner. He had snapped at strange men
on 2 different occasions, when it looked like
they were approaching her and Moses didn't know them. He was fine
with people in the house as long as
he knew her owner was ok with them.
P.S. He loves American cheese and hot dogs

UPDATE
4/2002 - Moses with his new family
|
Great news - Valerie and her loving family, who had adopted Roxeanne
from us back in December, decided that they wanted a playmate
for Roxie and so they adopted Moses. As you can see from the pictures
- they make a great couple. :)
