Molly
2-3
Year Old Female Rough Coat
Molly is a beautiful young Saint. She was found wandering around
the San Fernando Valley and taken in temporarily by a very nice
lady who was unable to keep the dog due to a very young child
and an aging mother that she is taking care of.
Molly spent the night with our volunteers, Pepper and Jessica
and their cats, and was brought down to the vets for a thorough
check-up, shots, and spaying the following day. she's had some
training. She can SIT, LAY DOWN, ROLL OVER, and SHAKE HANDS.And
she's a very good walker. When she sees you getting the leash
she comes right over to you and SITS. She's also a bit of a leaner.
As far as temperament, she is just a tad shy but is very scared
of loud noises, so we don't recommend a home with small children.
However she does seem to get along with children (a neighbor's
3 year old girl ran up to pet her, and Molly just sat still, tried
to give her a big lick on the face), adults, and other dogs, and
didn't show much interest in cats, other than when one cat caught
her attention by running around.
She also makes an excellent door lock as our volunteer, Jessica,
found out at 2am when Molly went back to sleep against the bathroom
door with her inside. Jessica was stuck in the bathroom for a
little while. :-)
