Lolita
4-5 Month Old Female Smooth Coat

Lolita is a 4-5 month old Saint who was found wandering around the industrial area of Long Beach. She was picked up by one of our volunteers who says that she loves people and doesnt want to stop giving kisses. Lola is currently at our rescue vet getting her shots, wellness exam, and being checked for microchips. If none are found, she will be spayed and available for adoption.

While she was at the vet, Lola barked at the cats in the vet office and sniffed a small schnauser with no problems. In the next few days we'll see how she gets along with our other rescue dogs.

If you are interested in adopting Lolita, please fill out an application and we will set up an appointment with you. Keep in mind that rescue fees are $350 for pups.

If you have already filled in an application and are interested in Lolita, CALL us for an appointment.

If you have not filled in an application please do so, your name will be added to our waiting list. Check our website daily, when you see a dog that interests you, please CALL for an appointment.

9/2002: Lolita update

Hi,

We have been very busy--with all children back to school etc. Lola(now Daisy) is doing great you can't see her ribs anymore!! I found IAMS puppy food for large breed dogs for 18.95 at petco.

Daisy has been quite a hit in my kindergarten class as she lays belly up with 5 or 6 children rubbing her tummy. Even though she has her own bones she often takes Clydes and he just lets her.

The only struggle I am having is with tinkling in the house. What I am not sure about is the door will be open and she will come in after being outside with free access to go back out and go on the rug----and this is no little puddle (yikes!) I put vinegar on the spots and I had all the carpets washed in case of previous smells. I have not caught her in the act recently so I feel like it is not appropriate to discipline her unless I catch her? Any suggestions???

I wish I could take another Saint.....I try enrolling everyone I know who is looking for a dog to visit. They always look at me like I am nuts!!!

Thank-you for your caring and support,
Blessings,
Laurra,Daisy and Company
