Logan when he first arrived with us!

Logan
2 Year Old Male Rough Coat

Logan is very sweet, needs lots of attention, would love to be your shadow.  Listens well.  Walks on leash well, house trained uses doggie door.  Good with everyone he meets, good with with kids, babies, cats, other dogs, elderly people, very mellow, rarely barks, wants every minute of your attention.  He rides well in the car, must be indoor/outdoor dog, he is used to being in the house when he wants by using the doggie door.  He needs to gain some weight, he is very spoiled.  When he was younger he had a tendency to steal food and other items off counters and tables. He is not doing too much of that anymore, provided he is not bored, lonely, or hungry.  Logan deserves to be somebody's best friend.  A true example of  Saint Bernard behavior. Logan will be 2 years old.  His birthday is November 12.

Logan update: 12/06

Dear Carole,
I hope this gets to you.  This is a photo of how "stressed" Logan is!  Logan
was like this when Judie was here.
He slept great last night.  I was able to get all his meds in him today
(except the ear wash)  I want to earn his trust and not overwhelm him.
Tomorrow I'll get on with the ear wash.  In the meantime, today he went to
my groomers and they gave him a great bath in a skin treatment solution and
conditioned his coat.  The owner's name is Deborah and she was very good at
keeping my Bibi the St. Bernard feeling healthy and looking beautiful.
Anyway, she said that Logan's paw pads were very worn and sore so she also
put horse hoof salve on them for conditioning.  He also had his teeth
brushed.  She had him ready by 11am and I picked him up and we went to
Fashion Island for lunch.  (he ate 1/4 of a chicken)    I realize it will
take time and the proper nutrition to get Logan where he should be.  In the
meantime, he will get extra doses of LOVE.  He is so sweet and trusting.  I
feel like the luckiest person to have found such a beautiful boy!!  My
daughter is as smitten.  They are so cute together.  When he is not
following me around he is glued to her.
Sorry to write so much.  I haven't felt this gushing of emotion in a long
time.  Thank you!
Taylor

Update 3/2007

Here he is 4 months later.  He is a very happy spoiled boy that goes to the Doggie Spa every other week for beauty treatments and a massage. He also has lunch at Fashion Island regularly with Taylor.  His coat has grown back and he has put on weight.  He is doing just great.
