Lily
11 Month Old Female Rough Coat

Lily is a big beautiful eleven month old playful pup. She is red and white, with a black mask and is rough coated. Lily is completely housetrained. She has had 30 hours of obedience classes.

Lily would benefit from anyone that would utilize her energy and love of agility and obedience. As with all of the dogs from Adopt A Saint, she is spayed, and is up to date on all her shots.

Lily tends to show small children that she is the boss. We feel that there should be no small children (under 10) as she tends knock them over and lie on top of them. This is not an aggressive act of pinning them down, snarling and growling at their throat or anything, she just simply knocks them over and plops herself on top of them. She is not mean to them. Children over ten would be best, as she does not do this to them. This is also a problem that may be corrected.

Lily loves to go for walks, ride in the car, play ball, run through the sprinklers, lay in her wading pool, and play with other dogs. She likes a soft bed or a cold tile floor, depending on the weather. She has good manners around food. She is passive about her dinner and does not bother you when you're eating.

She loves other dogs, but hasn't been around cats, so we don't know if she is cat safe.

Lily's owners are sad and heart broken to have to give her up, but they have small grandchildren who have been knocked over and are hesitant to be near Lily. They feel that a home with older children would be best.
