6 Month Old Female Smooth Coat

Lexi is all puppy!  She needs some basic obedience training required for most of our younger rescues.  She was turned in by her family because she was a bit too hyper for the 3 yr old.  She wants to be right with you at all times and is full of wiggly-butt puppy energy. I picked her up and decided to foster her and threw her right in the backyard with my 2 saints and 3 other dogs.... in 5 minutes tops she was running the yard with the big dudes and a even a little schnauzer. She is very sweet but is the perfect age for some serious training.

In order to be considered as a new family for Lexi you must have another dog/dogs for her to play with, and older kids would be great. She cannot go to a home where the owners work 8-9 hrs a day.   She will no doubt have to be potty trained as we only adopt out to homes who let their dogs in to be a part of the family, but I know she is a fast learner as she learned to use the doggy door after one day of watching the others use it.  She can be a bit energetic at first but after playing with my dogs in the yard for a while, she layed down on a dog bed next to my saint and my golden and fell asleep.

Anyone that is approved to adopt Lexi will agree to take her to obedience training and that will be a must in signing the adoption contract.
