Foster
6 Month Old Male Rough Coat

My husband's secretary had a friend who had a co-worker that bought this
cute little puppy in Bakersfield in a parking lot out of someone's truck.
He's a pure bred, but not well bred.  Well, these people soon discovered
that puppies grow and require food and medical attention, which they
couldn't afford.  There was a whole mess of them living in an apartment with
this dog and they decided they were just going to dump him.
Hearing this through that grapevine, my husband got hold of him before these people could just rid themselves of him like trash and brought him home.

He's 6 months old and a total lap dog.  Just loves love, kids, and other
dogs.  He was severly underweight and covered with fleas and sores.  We got
the fleas under control, put some weight on him, had him dewormed,
vaccinated, spayed, and had his dew claws removed.  We also had his hips
x-rayed and they are fine.

He is such a wonderful puppy and we've enjoyed caring for him. However, we have a Newfoundland and a Bernese Mountain Dog and just can't handle 3 giants.  I named him "Foster" so that I wouldn't forget and fall in love, but it's too late.  It's already breaking my heart, but I know our limitations.  It wouldn't be fair to him for us to keep him.
We need help finding him an excellent home that will provide him with lots
of love, care, and stability.

He will do will with kids but he is a jumper,
so small kids might not be the best idea.  He also gets along very well with
other dogs and love to wrestle and play tug of war with them.  He is 100% an
inside dog and will not do well in a home that doesn't want him to be an
intimate part of the family.  Please help us find him a great place to live!
